???? What to Wear for the hot-air balloon sightseeing flight:
Dress comfortably and in layers, just as you would for a light outdoor hike. We recommend:
- Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or heels) – landings may be on grassy or uneven terrain.
- Long pants and sleeves – to protect against morning chill, sun, or brush on landing.
- A light jacket or hoodie – early flights can be cool, especially at sunrise.
- A hat or cap – the burner above the basket gives off heat, and a hat adds comfort.
Avoid overly bulky clothing, and skip anything that may snag or blow away. You won’t feel wind chill during the flight (since you’re moving with the wind), but mornings can be brisk before takeoff.
